This was our families first experience in the criminal court system and we had so many concerns for my son since he had no criminal history. Mr Cotlar was very professional and his cut to the chase, tell it like it is, honesty was so refreshing! Since moving to Texas, I really love the Southern hospitality but spending so much time with a New Yorker, I’m also use to a friendly but abrupt conversation as well. Some people take it as being rude, it’s not. In this situation, save all the fluff and pleasantries and let’s just get to it! I’m also sure it comes from his time spent in service to our country, which I’m very grateful for. We had a consultation, talked price, he then got started shortly afterwards interviewing my son in jail. The process was slow but quicker than expected, we had an ideal outcome. Since the process had moved rather quick and seemless, Mr. Cotlar was generous enough, he took it upon himself to tell us he was going to renegotiate the price that was first agreed since he didn’t have to do as much as he thought?!? Crazy right! We would have never known the difference and just paid full price but instead he lowered it. We would highly recommend working with Mr Cotlar and if he can’t be reached his assistant is just as knowledgeable. I am just a regular working person, my son got himself into trouble and with help from my sons uncle, Mr. Cotlar, and God, we made it to the other side of this. His cost is at the mid to higher end but when it comes to your criminal record or facing jail time for poor judgment at a moment of weakness, it’s not time to be cheap y’all. It was a pleasure speaking with him and I hope one day to get a chance to meet him in person, just not on the job of course😊🙄🥸

Mr. Cotlar is a Phenomenal attorney with a lot of experience. He is very honest with his Clients and is very effective. I highly recommend him.
