I have used their services 4 times in a length of 2 months. All 4 times they’ve arrived very quickly, to me their prices are fair, sure any towing is gonna be pricey, it’s to be expected due to the economy. I will continue to use their services because of the good experience I’ve had with them. And yes I will recommend them as well. As to their mechanical expertise, I will update on pricing and general thoughts after I get my car back once they work on fixing the issues.

I've been a long-time customer and have genuinely never had an issue with the workmanship at the shop, but have found their prices to be much higher than some competing shops in the area who also do quality work. Was recently quoted for work on one of our cars that amounted to roughly $3500 in repairs, was able to get the work done for about $1,000 less than quoted using OEM parts. All in all not trashing Golbow, just encouraging you guys to get a second opinion you may find savings in these tough times.

I had the same mechanic for almost 35 years. However he tragically died in 2019 and his family could not keep the business going. It had been around for decades. From time to time he referred me to Golbow's garage for certain things he did not do. I have been using their towing service for several years. But with my mechanic passing away, I naturally thought of Golbow's. Plus we now lived close to their repair shop on Franz. I haven't had any major repairs yet but this week they replaced the splash guard under my car. It was completed in 5 hours. In January I needed two tire rims repaired from a collision with a curb during a bad storm. That also was quickly done. Scott in the service dept was very courteous and helpful each time. I will be going back soon for a car checkup. Gotta stay safe now-a--days.

I wish I could recall the name of the guy that helped me with my tow but he was absolutely phenomenal. I never thought I’d leave a review for a towing company but my experience was that great. They were able to help me out immediately (while I was waiting over an hour for AAA by the way). I told them I was in a tough spot and needed help in a hurry. They were fast, courteous, and professional!
