I've been seeing Linda Twichell for about 7 years. I can confidently say that she has been professional, educational and very supportive in my recovery process. She is very aware and well informed on a variety of treatment options that would best suit any individuals needs. She has recommended particular coping methods that I still use to this day. Her office setting is both comfortable and welcoming, although it is best to have an appointment in order to respect and honor other patients and therapists time. Working in the mental health field myself, I appreciate the knowledge and experience Linda offers to all her clients. I would and have highly recommended her to anyone who is looking for an experienced, intelligent, understanding, non-judgmental, but most of all caring therapist. I venture to say that anyone who has shared a negative experience on this platform, simply has not given Linda a decent opportunity to aid them with their troubles.

Linda has been providing my child therapy since approx. 6 months after Hurricane Harvey. She has been incredibly helpful in restoring his confidence, feelings of security & personal agency, and giving him valuable strategies (and his parents) for coping with fear, anger, and uncertainty. The past 20 months have been a journey for us and our son, and we believe that he has been in very kind and capable hands in that time. Based on our needs, I can confidently recommend Linda for anyone, including children under the age of 8, who are struggling with PTSD and/or Anxiety.

I’ve been taking my children to see Linda for the last year and a half (first just my son and then eventually my daughter when she started showing symptoms) and have been very pleased with every aspect of working with her. Her cognitive behavioral therapy has made noticeable and significant improvements in the daily lives of my children and consequently, our entire family. Her gentle and caring demeanor provided a welcome environment and my kids took almost no time at all to feel at home in her office. One of the most helpful aspects of working with Linda is that my kids have really been equipped with tools and skills to cope with anxiety related issues outside of her office. I’ve seen first hand how a dedicated and qualified professional can make a real and lasting impact on mental health and I can not recommend Linda enough! On top of her professional skills, she obviously cares about her patients personally as she has checked in on my kids outside of normal appointments....specifically during a surgery that she knew my son was feeling anxious about. From a logistics standpoint, navigating two kids schedules and constantly changing after school activities can be a real hassle but she has always been very accommodating with appointments. We appreciate Linda so much and would highly recommend her services.

I’ve been seeing Linda for almost a year, after not “clicking” with a previous therapist. She was highly recommended by my MD, who I am grateful for the excellent recommendation.

Linda is the first therapist I’ve met who truly does not make me feel “judged”, and that has allowed me to speak without hesitation about some very difficult subjects, which is a feeling of relief that is hard to express.

Her office is located in the back of a cluster of several similar buildings. There is a comfortable waiting room in her office suite and parking is free and ample.

Mrs. Linda is a wonderful, caring, and empathetic counselor. I’ve been seeing her now for almost three years. She has made herself available to my ever changing schedule and life. She is available via text, email, or phone and she has done several phone therapy sessions when travel to her office was impractical. She helped me seek treatment with a psychiatrist and recommends great self coping strategies. She also allows me to bring my little one to sessions. Her Christian values and non judgmental personality make her an excellent listener. She is very supportive and understanding as well! She has helped me with various levels of anxiety and depression over the years. She has also assisted with grief counseling, couples counseling, and bouts of minor OCD. If you’re looking for a listening ear and help when your ready for counseling I highly recommend Ms. Linda.
