Melissa is the most thorough, patient, resourceful, and genuinely caring midwife you're going to find in this area. Not only did she always answer every question or concern I ever had throughout my pregnancy, she always made sure I knew she was on my team and would support me in every capacity she could. This was my first pregnancy and my first homebirth. I attribute so much of my healthy pregnancy and very successful homebirth to her and will be forever grateful.

Melissa greatly supported my husband and I through the experience of our baby’s delivery. Though we asked Melissa to be our doula in a hospital birth experience, knowing that she also practices as a midwife helped me to trust her completely. I found myself calling her frequently for advice and emotional support... once at 4:30am! She always answered my calls promptly and talked me through various worries and different possible scenarios with great knowledge and care. And after our baby was born, the postpartum care that Melissa provided was awesome!!

I would want every first-time mother to have someone as wise, clear-headed, knowledgeable and loving as Melissa to guide her through the incredible experience of pregnancy, labor, delivery and postpartum days.

My husband and I chose Melissa after interviewing another group of midwives. We chose her because she really took her time to answer our questions and we liked her approach to care. She would always present us with our options and allowed us time to make a decision, offering her opinion if we asked. She is very detail oriented and conscientious, so I came to trust her and rely on her advice. In our case, she delivered our daughter at home. However, I am sure she is just as amazing if you choose a hospital birth. If we have another child, we will most definitely use her again.

I have had Melissa as my midwife through all three of my pregnancies and have nothing but good things to say about her! Her knowledge and genuine care for her pregnant mamas is remarkable. All of my births seemed very different and Melissa handled it (and me!) with such patience and care.

I've used Melissa for my last two home births and I love her! She is the best midwife! I felt completely safe, taken care of, and pampered throughout the entire process, from prenatal through labor, delivery, and postpartum care. I highly recommend her midwifery care to anyone considering and choosing to have a home birth.
