I am very grateful to the entire staff at BluePearl. It was a whirlwind 24 hours where I brought my doggie in for concerning symptoms (lethargy, pale/white gums, sudden loss of bladder control, and refusing food) on Valentine’s Day and the next day, I walked out of the hospital after having to suddenly say good bye to my best friend.

From the start to finish, the front desk staff provided calming, compassionate, and clear service. In particular, Yolanda is an amazing, caring rockstar. The intake technician was kind and gentle. Dr. Villanueva was an excellent doctor, he made sure to kindly set my expectations and provide the different scenarios possible. He kept me updated throughout the night. The overnight team in general was great at providing detailed updates and pictures through phone and text. Dr. Kwon was the one to deliver the bad news, and she was very patient and caring when doing so. We appreciated how the staff provided a comfortable space for us with blankets to say our goodbyes. They gave us all the space, time, and privacy we needed. The clean, comfortable lobby with hot chocolate maker was the perfect distracting space for my husband to take our young daughter when it was time for Dr. Kwon to come in and relieve our Duke of his pain. Before she did the injection, she once again patiently answered all of my questions and reassured me there was nothing we could have done to prevent the inevitable. While it was terrible to lose a pet, the entire experience with BluePearl was top notch. We were also impressed with how quickly and beautifully packaged the memorial items were.

We will never forget the kindness of the staff. Thank you.

We had to take one of our dogs in early morning. He was vomiting and had bloody diarrhea. Blue Pearl Katy took care of him very well. He had to stay overnight and it was expensive but he was in good care. They kept updating his condition with pictures. It was a big relief for us. They prepared a room with blankets for our dog to lie down when we visited to see him. We spent some time with him comfortably.
Veterinarians, nurses and front staff were very kind.

Our beloved Pewee passed away. I rushed him to the hospital but he just didn't make it. The technician came running outside (curbside due to COVID19) to take him and see if they could do something but there was nothing to be done. He was already stiff when I arrived.

They were very nice during this heartbreaking event. The next steps was to think about his burial. We decided to cremate him. The package was reasonably priced and included his ashes and a paw print. I had a similar experience before at another hospital with another pet that passed away due to old age and they didn't treat me this nice. It's been hard, emotionally, but everyone at Blue Pearl was very caring and honestly, this memory of him, especially his paw print, brings tears to my eyes.

I am also glad they added a pamphlet about coping with the loss of a pet because it is devastating.

I know there are a lot of comments about pricing but you have to remember, they are open 24/7. I personally didn't find it expensive but for other procedures it may be different since you have the convenience of stopping by without an appointment and getting your pet treated in an emergency.
