Sugar Land - Public Works

I would like to express my sincere thanks to the great employees at Public Works of the City of Sugar Land. The sewer of our house got clogged repeatedly recently. On 12/12, Robert, Scott, and Jimmy came to our house and helped us located the cleanout. After finding out that the section of the damaged sewer pipe belongs to the City, they immediately ordered a crew of 5 to 6 workers to change the sewer pipe.

The crew came at about 5:00 PM and finished the work at 11:30 PM. They demonstrated great professionalism. For example, they power washed the street and sidewalk to clean the dirt brought by the digging. This morning, Robert came again and installed a new cap on our cleanout. I cannot overstate how much I appreciate their works. Many thanks to these excellent employees of the Public Works department of the City of Sugar Land.

Thank you so much for fixing the Y connection in my yard. I consider it as the best Christmas gift. Thank you Robert, Scott and Jamie. God Bless You!!

I want to express my sincere thanks to the workers of the city of Sugar land of the Department of Public Works, Mr. Emmet and Adam (there was a third man who came to help me first but I don't remember his name), on April 27th of 2022 me and my little daughters got stranded at Eldridge and West Airport around 4:00 pm as one of the tires on my vehicle had blew out, the temperature was almost 100° F; I tried to change my tire but I did not have enough strength to remove the tire, I called roadside assistance services but they wanted to charge an exorbitant amount of money.
The man whose name I don't remember (but I do remember that he said he was Mr. Emmet and Adam's supervisor) along with those mentioned above were kind enough to stop to help me, as they saw me desperate and scared. They helped me to change the tire so that my daughters and I could return home.
I will never forget this generous and powerful act of good faith from these amazing workers of the City of Sugarland.
I am sure that the Department of Public Works is very proud to have among its members workers like these great heroes (not all heroes have capes).
On behalf of my daughters who were very scared, my husband who was worried about not being able to help us since he was more than an hour away, and on my behalf, thank you very much, God bless you all and God bless the department of public works of the city of Sugarland for have amazing staff like you three.
