Best experience I have ever had with car repair. Friendly people, but most of all, honest. My car AC stopped blowing cold air. I took it to my dealership; they told me I had a bad compressor, and quoted me $1,269.
On a suggestion from a neighbor, I took it to Tripps. They checked for leaks in the system, did not detect any, and charged it with refrigerate. Total charge: $98.45.
This is my car repair shop for life.

Honesty, Integrity, Professionalism, Expertise. These are just a few words used to describe the team at Tripps Auto Tech. Although these words are not commonly associated with mechanics in general: Mike, Richard and the entire team are brimming with integrity and have proven time and time again how trustworthy and upstanding they are.

They have performed routine maintenance and repairs to both my husband’s trucks a 2015 F150, and 2005 Dodge Dakota and my personal vehicles, a 2009 Nissan and 2015 Subaru Forester. My father is a mechanic with over forty years experience and through his career has held positions as an instructor teaching Automotive Technology, with his expertise I have always relied on him to verify any advice given regarding my vehicles. I no longer live close enough to have my father maintain my vehicles and have hired Richard Tripp and his team to help me the past several years. Everything they have ever told me has ALWAYS completely passed the sniff test and my dad completely agrees with their recommendations, techniques and explanations. Being a woman it can be frustrating and overwhelming having car repairs or work done. Richard and his team take the time to explain their recommendations and show me exactly what is going in with my vehicle/s and answer all my questions. This has not been the experience I have had at other mechanic shops, dealers etc. Richard + his team are the only techs I want ever touching my family’s vehicles. Highly recommend.
