Mason Road Veterinary Clinic

I wanted to write a long, thorough review of this clinic because of how impressed and grateful I am to them. Overall, the staff was so friendly and kind to me, and I was especially appreciative of Dr. Hokanson's care for my hamster! The cost of the visit was also the most affordable that I have paid compared to the other vets Jojo has seen! 10,000/5 stars :)

Because I am a graduate student and have been moving around for school these past couple of years, I have visited many vets for my sweet hamster Jojo. I am actually currently here in Katy for a few weeks for winter break. I visited the Mason Road Veterinary Clinic a couple of weeks ago, and I was so impressed with how kind and genuine the staff is. Dr. Hokanson and her team were very gentle with Jojo. After they trimmed his nails, Dr. Hokanson came in holding Jojo, and it made me so happy to see Jojo being taken care of so well. He looked very comfortable with her and even tried going into her sleeves! At that time, he was very old and had some symptoms I was concerned about, and Dr. Hokanson was very patient and gentle with me with the reality of Jojo's condition and gave me some very helpful advice and an antibiotic to ease some of his symptoms.

A couple of days after Christmas, Jojo, unfortunately, passed away after 3 long hamster years. I called the office to see if they offered cremation services (which they do), and they were very sensitive and kind throughout the entire process. They even opened a room for me to spend some time with him. A few days later, I received a letter in the mail signed with sweet messages from the staff and little prints from Jojo's paws. This gesture shows me just how passionate this clinic is about all animals, and I am so grateful that my dear Jojo was in their care, even for such a short period.

I'm thankful for the wonderful service and above-and-beyond compassion they have given me! I recommend this vet clinic to anyone who wants their dear pets to have the most genuine and warmest care. :)

I am a first time dog owner and I went to this vet because they partnered with my adoption agency for the first visit. I was blown away with the kindness of the staff. The vet was so calm and patient with my anxious pup, along with answering all of my questions. I went back again for medicine and everyone was so friendly and helpful, even when they were very busy!

I have been bringing my fur babies (cats) to Mason Rd Veterinary Clinic for over 35 years. Staff is super friendly. Veterinarian answers all of your questions and concerns regarding your fur babies. Prices are reasonable.

The Vet, techs and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Highly knowledgeable about Bearded Dragon. They take care to learn about the pets home life and more.

After a 13 year run full of love both given and received our beloved family member and for life four legged companion Debo was ready to no longer live in discomfort from normal large dog health and physical complications and was ready to join the rest of the world's Great Four Legged Family Protectors/Guardians. Since he did such a great and honorable job at being a protector of the children and family, a shoulder to cry on when times were rough, as a listener, and so much more but most of all completely lived up to being referred to as "Man's Best Friend ", the family and I decided we needed to find a Veterinarian Clinic that would help him leave this world and safely move on to the next in the same loved, secure, cared for, and respected feelings he made sure we felt every night we slept sound knowing he was watching over us as we slept. So after calling multiple different vet clinics to decide which we felt could complete such a large demanding task we finally found this one and picked it. Needless to say we weren't disappointed or couldn't possibly have found a better place to do so. The staff was so amazing and comforting to my wife and I during the entire procedure also at helping Debo have the best painless loved heartfelt send off he deserved!! After the procedure they returned his remains back to us not only in a very timely manner but in a beautiful wooden ashes display box to put on our fire mantel in his memory. The vet was amazing and so were her assistants. I recommend the place to anybody with a loved one of another species!!!
