Planet Fitness

I am new to Planet Fitness. I've read the reviews and agree with the comments regarding the attitude of SOME staff members. Keep in mind, I've only been a few times... However, I am very aware that some of the staff behind the desk do not appear interested in customer service. They are on their phones or goofing around with each other and seldom acknowledge you when you walk up for assistance. I feel like I'm bothering them when I would like a machine turned on in the Black Card area. Often times there is only one staff member behind the counter. Other times there are way too many...yet, they are engaged with each other and not the customers waiting for assistance. I gave the club five stars because it seems like a nice facility for the cost of membership. All I am asking for is a friendly face and some good energy vibes after an extremely stressful day...
(I did visit Dynamic Fitness before joining Planet Fitness. I have to tell you their staff was happy, energetic and focused on the customer, just sayin.)

This gym is pretty huge, Tons of stationary Lifting machines and I mean tons of them!! A nice area for calisthenics body weight stuff.. The free weights section is pretty standard sized, Tons of cardio machines.. Not sure who wants to tan for skin cancer or sit under the red light machine but the hydro massage chairs feel so relaxing.

Planet Fitness continues to be a good facility for me to work out. Equipment is showing signs of aging though. A number of them keep breaking down but they are not being replaced or serviced often enough. Most of the equipment is used until it breaks down (lack of preventive maintenance) after which it's a couple of weeks or more before it is fixed.

It's been a few months since I took a membership at this place. I'm more than pleased with the facilities provided for the low-cost membership. The place is brand new so all the equipment is in great condition. I've seen the staff take care of it well. Everything is PF branded and it looks good too.

Front desk is helpful. I haven't really needed much help from them anyway. I see many other reviews of people complaining about the staff. Must be a bunch of entitled princesses! I mean the place just started. Give them a break to learn the ropes. The staff needs to get to the flow and they'll get there.

Ample parking space. I've come here at different times and never found the place crowded. In all, I'm pleased. Until a future update, I'm hoping to be a regular here.

Definitely like the gym. There is an adequate amount of equipment to use. There are also plenty of cleaning stations strategically placed to clean the equipment. I always see someone walking around ensuring the cleaning items are kept in stock. The app is a great convenience since it gives you an ideal of how crowded the gym is throughout the day. I typically go early in the morning and it's not bad at all. I haven't been in the evening, so I can't provide feedback on that.

I enjoyed my workout at this facility. The atmosphere was very pleasant from the front desk employees to the people that were working out. This was my first time at this location as I'm from Dallas so it was very freshening to workout in such a relaxing atmosphere. The equipment was up to par and everything appeared clean. Yes why I'm here I will be a repeat patron of this facility.
